Have you seen the new movie from Walt Disney Pixar WALL-E? I believe it's a must see movie for all ages. WALL-E stands for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class. He doesn't talk very much.
Skip ahead 700 years and Earth is a void wasteland. Garbage is everywhere. This includes under ground and all the way into space. Humans have vacated Earth and have entered a giant spaceship, letting the robots clean up their mess below.
WALL-E is the last robot working to clean up the garbage. He picks it up, compresses it and makes it into little tidy packages.
WALL-E is lonely working alone, but he does have a pet roach. He tries to visualize about who would make such a mess. In his spare time WALL-E watches tapes of song and dance about Hello Dolly. A robot, named EVE, is sent to seek out any life on Earth. Now WALL-E is in love.
WALL-E is taken back to Eve's spaceship where he finally gets to meet the humans. The humans are locked into video and cell phones. BNL- Buy 'N' Large, the huge corporation, that tells the humans what to buy and consume is everywhere on giant sized screens. WALL-E inadvertently shows the humans they must change their ways and snap out of their all consuming nature.
